Electives

Electives

EDGE students may take up to 9 different electives during their middle school years, giving them the ability to have a wide variety of experiences in different fields. Our goal is to give students many options so they are better able to make wise choices regarding high school pathways. Each elective is offered for one semester except for Band and Orchestra which are year-long electives. Elective offerings may include:

Exploratory Spanish                       Math Development               Drama                 Global Studies   Introduction to Computers              Creative Writing                   Debate                 Ethnic Studies                    Pre-Engineering Explorations         Yearbook                             Forensics             Psychology            Building Healthy Relationships       Social Responsibility           Marine Biology     PE Extension                    Environmental Awareness               Orchestra                           Band                                                               Leadership (cross age-tutors and mentors)
