PE and Athletics

All students must dress out in the Muir PE uniform each day for PE.

Muir PE shirt – Muir PE shirt OR plain white t-shirt specified for PE. A plain white shirt may be given to the student's homeroom teacher to be designated for PE.
*Black athletic shorts or sweat pants. Shorts must be longer than the end of the fingertips. Leggings are not allowed. No stripes wider than a pencil. Logos must be smaller than a quarter.
*Sweatshirts may be worn over the PE shirt in cold weather.
Socks
Tennis or athletic shoes – laces must be tied
Muir PE bags for carrying clothing to and from school. PE bags are not required, but highly recommended.

It is required that all students write their first initial and last name (no nicknames) on all physical education clothing in permanent black ink. This will help identify lost or stolen articles of clothing and in reducing the number of thefts. All students are required to dress out, even if they are on restricted participation for a valid medical reason. Students are not permitted to share physical education clothing.

*Students may also bring a PLAIN WHITE t-shirt to their homeroom teacher to be designated as a PE shirt. Students may bring their own black shorts or sweatpants.
