Instrument

Instrumental music is offered to all third through eighth graders at Muir. Students can choose from string and wind instruments. Third and fourth graders start with the violin. In fifth grade students can choose from flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and violin. Students in elementary school get thirty minutes of instruction every week throughout the year. 
    In middle school instrument options expand and more classes are offered. Students have the option to choose a band or orchestra class. Band consists of wind and percussion instruments. Orchestra is made up of string instruments. Each ensemble performs two concerts throughout the school year one winter and one spring. Please email MHaun@lbschools.net with any questions.
